
Condors Stay at Home for Three More Games this Week

Bakersfield, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, host of the 2010-11 ECHL All-Star Classic and ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, are back on the Mercy and Memorial Hospitals Home Ice at Rabobank Arena for two games against the Victoria Salmon Kings sandwiched around a battle against Las Vegas. On Wednesday, the doors open at 9:30 a.m. with the drop of the puck at 10:30 a.m. The doors open at 6 p.m. with the drop of the puck at 7 p.m. for Friday and Saturday's games.
On Wednesday, the puck drops at 10:30 a.m., so join us during your lunch hour for our Businesspersons Special and Field Trip Day, courtesy of Hot 94.1. Students at the game will receive an educational booklet focusing on Math and Geography. Also, special pricing on all seating gets you into the game for just $10! During the game, Cameron Hughes,theAmbassador of Cheer, will be entertaining the kids.
The Las Vegas Wranglers return to Condorstown on Friday, November 19, for the first of five Trading Card Giveaway Nights, sponsored by Bright House Networks. It is also a Bright House Networks Family Night. All Bright House Networks subscribers get $7.00 admission by showing their cable bill. All Kids Club Members receive free terrace level admission for the game on Friday as well, courtesy of Bright House Networks, Bakersfield Californian, & Wells Fargo.
Before the game, Ridgeview Community Church will take the ice to play broomball. Colonel Nichols Elementary will sing the National Anthem, and also take part in a check presentation during the first intermission.
The final game of the weekend sees the Victoria Salmon Kings back in town for a Saturday matchup, when the San Diego Chargers Girls grace Rabobank Arena, courtesy of ESPN AM 1230. The Chargers Girls will perform on the ice during the first and second intermission, and will also be available for pictures and autographs at the Condors Photo Booth during pregame and at the end of each intermission.
Saturday night is a Condors Classroom Champions Night, as students at participating schools who achieve outstanding attendance levels receive a free ticket to the game, courtesy of ABC23, SC Architect, and Kern County Firefighters. All fans in attendance will also get a Condors Cheer Sign, brought to you by the Bakersfield Californian.
Prior to the game, the Condors are hosting the annual Guns and Hoses game from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. Kern County firefighters and policemen suit up to display their hockey skills on the Rabobank Arena Ice. There will also be a Guns and Hoses check presentation following warm-ups. The League of Dreams will be on the bench during warm-ups, and receiving a check presentation on the ice right before the game. Following the contest, fans are invited to Skate with the Condors. Fans are encouraged to bring their own skates to the game, as limited rental will be available for $5.
Following every home game, players will be available at the Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center Autograph Booth, located on the arena concourse behind section 108. C Adam Naglich, and rookie RW Carter Smith will be available on Wednesday, D Joey Ryan and DEvan Stoflet will be in the booth on Friday, and RW Stephane Goulet and G Peter Hirsch will take their places on Saturday. Players will be available approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of each contest to greet fans and sign autographs.
Every game this week can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 970 AM, with the Goose Loonies call-in show following each game. Friday's game will be joined in progress following the Lakers game on Fox Sports 970 AM, but will be aired in its entirety online. All Condors games can be heard live at www.foxsports970am.com, or you can listen on your smartphone by downloading the iheartradio app. All the games can also be seen streaming live through America One. Wednesday and Saturday's games will be broadcast on Bright House Networks Cable Channel 21. All televised contests will also be available on Bakersfield On Demand Cable Channel 300, starting the following day. Wednesday's game will also be re-run at 7 p.m. Wednesday night as well.

The Condors are having a November Nuttiness merchandise clearance sale! Through November 24 (or while supplies last) jerseys, bobbleheads, t-shirts and other items are on sale at huge discounts. Past specialty jerseys are $75 off for Season Ticket Holders, and $50 off for non-season ticket holders. The regular retail for those jerseys is $125. The sale takes place only at the Condors back merchandise stand, behind section 102, and is available during all home games.
