ABOUT TONIGHT'S MATCHUP:
Season Series: Nailers lead 6-3
The Nailers and the Cyclones will meet for the second time in as many nights tonight in the Friendly City. The Nailers are coming off a 6-3 road victory over the Cyclones last night at US Bank Arena, extending their lead in the North Division to 12 points over Cincinnati and Kalamazoo. Doug Rogers and Jason Desantis each posted three-point nights, and goaltender Peter Delmas made 28 saves to improve to 7-0 on the season. The six goal output marked the fifth time Wheeling has posted six goals or more at US Bank Arena.
Darren Sproat scored two goals in last night's loss. The Cyclones have won two of the three meetings in Wheeling this season.
