K-Wings Add to their Roster
Prior to yesterday's game, the K-Wings added forwards Dean Strong and Mike Sellitto to their roster. Strong, who played for the K-Wings last season, was signed as free-agent after starting the season in Europe, while Sellitto was assigned to Kalamazoo from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers after playing most recently in the SPHL with the Louisiana Ice Gators.
Approaching 800
Kory Karlander is nearing an impressive milestone. Karlander needs one more point to reach 800 in his career.
Thinking Positive
Forwards Trent Daavettila, Andrew Fournier and Darryl Lloyd along with defensemen Jon Landry and Ryan McGinnis all went plus-3 in last night's game. The plus-3 effort ties a season-high for the K-Wings and gives McGinnis the team-lead in the category with a season total of plus-nine.
Scoring in the Clutch
Forward Andrew Fournier recorded the game-winner for the K-Wings in last night's victory over South Carolina. Fournier, who leads the team in goals with 23, is now tied for the team-lead with Kory Karlander with four game-winners.
