K-Wings Gill and Landry Head to the AHL

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders and American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, announce goaltender Riley Gill has been loaned to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, while Jon Landry has been loaned to the Grand Rapids Griffins.

Gill and Landry being loaned to Bridgeport and Grand Rapids marks the 10th and 11th time this season that a member of the K-Wings has been sent up to the AHL.

This will be Gill third call-up this season and the first to the Sound Tigers. Gill will get reunited with K-Wings Brady Leisenring, Wes O'Neill and Brandon Svendsen, who are currently on the Bridgeport roster. On the season, Gill is 8-6-0-0 with a goals against average of 3.25 and has a save percentage of 0.901.

Heading to Grand Rapids will be Landry's second call-up of the year; he was called-up in late November to Bridgeport. On the season, Landry has registered 17 points (3 goals, 14 assists) and has a plus/minus rating of minus-two in 31 games this season with the K-Wings.

In Gill's absence, Kalamazoo has signed Tom Schaul as an emergency goaltender.

The K-Wings will conclude their season-long six-game home stand tonight, Saturday, February 5th with a 7:30 p.m. versus the Stingrays on Pepsi Night and Saturday "Celebrity" Series featuring Chef Wayne from the Greenleaf Hospitality Group. Two-Year Season Ticket Holder Joanne Belka, will serve as assistant coach for the game.

Single-game tickets for all regular season home games are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office.
