NORMAL - The Normal CornBelters, presented by Illinois Corn Farmers, will begin the final home stand of the season. Following a three-game trip at Gateway Grizzlies, the Belters will be back home on Friday, September 2 at 7:00pm (CEFCU Fireworks Friday / Pre-Game Concert by Larry Gatlin / Cram the Crib / Silent Auction Benefiting Jared Poppe).

Friday, September 2, 7pm: CEFCU Fireworks Friday / Pre-game Concert by Larry Gatlin / Cram the Crib / Silent Auction Benefiting Jared Poppe:

Country music legend Larry Gatlin will perform a pre-game concert at the Corn Crib at 6:00pm! One of country music's most successful acts in the 1970's and 80's, Gatlin has accumulated 33 Top 40 singles over the years. He will also sing the National Anthem before the CornBelters game at 7:00pm. Gates will open at 5:30pm for this special performance. (Tickets good for both concert & CornBelters game.) It's time to "Cram the Crib" again, and we need your help to break our attendance record! Bring everyone you know out to the ballpark for this special night and help us make history. This is our last "CEFCU All American Friday" of the 2011 season! Stick around after the game for a spectacular fireworks show brought to you by CEFCU! CornBelters players will be wearing their special All American jersey for the final time and the jerseys will be auctioned off after the fireworks show! We will also have a Silent Auction beginning at 6pm to benefit Jared Poppe, a marine who was wounded in Afghanistan. Jared is originally from Kappa, Illinois.Also, the first 100 fans to buy four (4) or more tickets at the Box Office at regular price this Friday will receive a $10 Qik-N-EZ gift card!

Saturday, September 3, 7pm: State Farm Starstruck Saturday - St. Louis Rams Cheerleaders / Cheer & Dance Night:

State Farm Starstruck Saturday brings members of the St. Louis Rams Cheerleaders out to sign autographs and throw out the first pitch!It's also "Cheer & Dance Night" at The Corn Crib! Attending squads will have the opportunity to participate in a pre-game clinic hosted by the St. Louis Rams Cheerleaders!The first 100 fans to buy four or more Box Seats at regular price at the Box Office on gameday will receive one free movie pass to Starplex Cinemas!

Sunday, September 4, 7pm: Autograph Sunday / Advocate BroMenn Kids T-Shirt Giveaway / Fan Appreciation Night:

Stick around after the game every Sunday to go down on the field and get autographs from all of your favorite CornBelters players and coaches as well as Corny!The first 500 children, ages 12 and under, through the gates will receive a CornBelters t-shirt compliments of Advocate BroMenn!This is the last game of the CornBelters regular season, but we dedicate this night to all of our amazing fans! There will be great giveaways each half inning of the game!

THE NIBLET: The Illinois Symphony Orchestra will present a free concert on Labor Day, Monday, September 5th at 7:30pm right here at the Corn Crib! This family-friendly concert will feature baseball-themed classics like Casey at the Bat, great marches from John Phillips Sousa, Beethoven's 5th and of course, the William Tell Overture. Bid summer farewell with a free concert by the Illinois Symphony Orchestra at the Corn Crib on Labor Day!
