Labor Day Weekend Tournament Starts Saturday

LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Jr. RiverHawks will host a 16-team Labor Day Weekend tournament beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday at Road Ranger Stadium.
The three-day tournament will feature teams from Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
"We are pleased to host such a large tournament and bring teams from all across the Midwest to the Stateline region," director of operations Chris Daleo said. "It will bolster the local economy, as well as the RiverHawks' commitment to youth baseball."
After this weekend, there will be seven more youth baseball tournaments and a softball tournament at Road Ranger Stadium. They will also bring teams in from Wisconsin, Illinois and the entire Midwest region.
"Even though the RiverHawks season is winding down, youth baseball will remain in full-swing at Road Ranger Stadium through the fall," Daleo said.
