
Rockford Adds Three to Roster

LOVES PARK, Ill. - As the 2013 roster continues to take shape, Manager Rich Austin has announced the singings of outfielder Logan Lotti, infielder Cameron Sherrer and left-handed pitcher Chris Kirk.
Lotti, a Chico, Calif. native, spent most of last season, his first in professional baseball, with the Las Cruces Vaqueros of the Pecos League.
Through 64 games with the Vaqueros, Lotti hit .360 with 22 home runs and 86 RBIs.
The outfielder finished last summer with the Abilene Prairie Dogs of the North American League and picked up a pair of hits in nine at-bats.
Sherrer was a teammate of Lotti's last season in Las Cruces and spent time at shortstop, third base and second base.
The Mesa, Ariz. native played in 35 games for the Vaqueros and hit .316 with 24 RBIs, stole 10 bases and walked 27 times.
Kirk last pitched in 2011 for the Pecos League's White Sands Pupfish, his first in professional baseball.
The left-hander appeared in 13 games for the Pupfish, starting seven. He recorded a 6.98 ERA and struck out more than six batters per nine innings.
