BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors played four games last week, finishing the week 1-1-2. They picked up four points in three games against their Highway 99 rivals, the Fresno Falcons, including an 8-1 blowout in Fresno on Friday night. C Tim Konsorada was the team's high point man with eight points (4g, 4a) on the week.

The Condors are 5-10-5 on the season, in 4th place in the Pacific Division, three points behind the 3rd place Stockton Thunder and four points behind the second place Fresno Falcons. The Condors hit the road for three consecutive games against the Alaska Aces this week before returning home for the annual Toy Drive game against the Fresno Falcons on Dec. 12.

Tuesday, Nov. 27: CONDORS 1 @ Las Vegas 4 The Las Vegas Wranglers scored three third period goals, including an empty-net tally, en route to a 4-1 win over the Condors. Bakersfield scored its lone goal of the contest at the 16:50 mark of the third period when D David Kudelka redirected a centering feed into the Wranglers' net for his first goal of the season. G Yutaka Fukufuji made the start in net for the Condors, and stopped 32 of 35 shots in a strong goaltending effort.

Friday, Nov. 30: CONDORS 8 @ Fresno 1 The Condors rebounded from the loss in Vegas with an offensive explosion in Fresno against the Falcons. C Tim Konsorada led the charge, scoring the game's first goal 4:16 into the second period. Konsorada finished the night with three points (2g, 1a), and was supported by five other multi-point performances from teammates. Konsorada, D Kevin Truelson, F Todd Griffith, F Sean Venedam, RW Spencer Carbery and F Andrew Ianiero all netted goals in the match, with Konsorada and Griffith tallying two goals apiece. LW Evan Kotsopoulos led the team with three assists and G Yutaka Fukufuji stopped 27 of 28 shots for the win.

Saturday, Dec. 1: Fresno 7 vs. CONDORS 6, SO Attendance: 7,207 Fresh off the blowout win in Fresno, the Condors played host to the Falcons Saturday night. Although C Tim Konsorada and F Sean Venedam combined for three goals over the first two periods, the Condors trailed, 6-3, early in the third. Bakersfield rallied in the final frame, scoring three consecutive goals to tie the game with just 47 seconds left in regulation. LW Mark Derlago and F Todd Griffith netted back-to- back goals within 1:04 of each other to bring the Condors within one, and F Andrew Ianiero notched the game-tying goal late in the third to send the game to overtime. Neither team scored in the extra session, leading to the shootout, in which Fresno prevailed.

Sunday, Dec. 2: CONDORS 3 @ Fresno 4, OT Three periods again proved to be too few, as the Condors and Falcons needed overtime for the second straight game. The Condors netted three power-play goals in the second period, taking a 3-1 lead into the second intermission. C Tim Konsorada struck first and was followed by tallies from LW Mark Derlago and F Todd Griffith. Fresno regrouped in the third period, scoring two unanswered goals to tie the game and force overtime before Falcon F Brady Leisenring scored the game-winner at 1:04 in the extra session.

# PLAYER AND TEAM NOTES: F Jesse Bennefield was acquired today in a trade with the Stockton Thunder for F Spencer Carbery and D Louis-Philippe Lachance. # C Tim Konsorada scored the first goal of the game Friday, Saturday and Sunday night against the Falcons, and notched eight total points (4g, 4a) in the Fresno series. # Konsorada leads the team with 12 goals and 21 points. # D David Kudelka leads the team with 12 assists. # C Mike Hofstrand was activated from the 30-day IR on Dec. 2, and played his first game of the season that night. # F Sean Venedam was placed on the 7-day IR on Dec. 2, and will be eligible to return on Dec. 9. # D Steven Later remains on the 30-day IR, and will be eligible to return on Dec. 14.

PROMOTIONAL NOTES: The Condors now head up to Alaska for three games against the Aces this week. The teams will square off Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. All three games will start at 8:15 p.m. PT, and can be heard on the All-New KGEO AM1230 and www.bakersfieldcondors.com. The games will also be available to view online through B2 Networks.

After the Alaska trip, the Condors will be back in The Nest on Wednesday, Dec. 12 for the ABC23 & R&D Leather Furniture Toy Drive game against the Fresno Falcons. Fans that donate a new, unwrapped toy will receive $1 terrace admission to the game. Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m.
