Idaho Steelheads News Release
CHANGING THE TIDE
The Steelheads have their first road game win of the season in the books after Saturday night's 2-1 overtime victory in Las Vegas. Idaho dropped the first two games of the series against the Wranglers. The win ends a seven-game winless streak on the road this season. Saturday's game also marks Idaho's 2007-08 first one-goal game victory and first shootout win. Idaho is now 1-5-1-1 on the road, and hope the ebb tide continues.
HOMEWARD BOUND
The Steelheads begin a nine-game homestand Wednesday night at Qwest Arena. The team plays Wednesday, Friday, Saturday contests for the next three weeks with Fresno, Phoenix and Las Vegas visiting. In contrast to their road record, Idaho is 6-1-3-1 at home, having lost only one game in regulation play.
