RoadRunners Host Kids Coat Drive Thursday and Friday

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, an affiliate of the San Jose Sharks and the Worcester Sharks, have announced that the club will host their first ever Kids Coat Drive at home games Thursday and Friday to benefit Sanderson Ford's sixth annual "Operation Santa Claus".

The RoadRunners will be accepting new and used kids' coats in good condition in the Casino Arizona Pavilion during each game. The coats will be distributed to the three charities that "Operation Santa Claus" works with: St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance, the West Valley Child Crisis Center, and KNIX Radio Tim and Willy's Kids FUN-dation.

The RoadRunners continue their eight-game road trip at 7:05 p.m. Monday when they open a two-game series with the Utah Grizzlies from the "E"-Center. Catch all the action live at www.phxroadrunners.com beginning with "RoadRunners Countdown" at 6:45 p.m.

Phoenix returns to US Airways Center at 7:11 p.m. Thursday as they open a two-game series with the visiting Victoria Salmon Kings.
