Thursday, November 29

COLUMBIA 4 - Charlotte 1

Daniel Sparre notched a pair of goals and Brad Ralph had two assists as the Inferno defeated the Checkers 4-1. Owen Fussey scored his fifth goal of the season and Jeremy Hall found the back of the net for his first goal of the year for the Inferno. Todd Ford recorded the win stopping 24 of 25 shots on goal.

Friday, November 30

CHARLOTTE 1 - Columbia 0

Charlotte's Dusty Jamieson had the only goal of the game and goaltender Darling recorded the shutout as the Checkers blanked the Inferno 1-0. Jeff Jakaitis played between the pipes for Columbia stopping 24 of 25 shots on goal.

Saturday, December 1

Columbia 1 - AUGUSTA 2 (OT)

Owen Fussey scored forty seconds into the first period for the Inferno. Augusta battled back and scored on a 6-on-4 power play opportunity at 18:59 of the third period to push the game into overtime. At 3:43 of the overtime period, the Lynx scored on a breakaway. The Inferno earned one point in the standing with the lose in overtime.

Inferno vs. Johnstown Chiefs

Carolina Coliseum

This is the second and final time the Inferno will face the Chiefs this season. On November 21, the Inferno played the Chiefs in Johnstown and lost 4-2. The Chiefs are currently in fifth place in the North Division with 19 points (9-7-1).

Inferno vs. Mississippi Sea Wolves

Carolina Coliseum

The Sea Wolves are in eighth place in the South Division with 13 points (6-14-1). This is the first game between the Inferno and Sea Wolves this year. They will face each other five times this season. Columbia is 2-1-1 all-time against Mississippi.

Inferno vs. Florida Everblades

Carolina Coliseum

This is the fourth of eight games between the Inferno and Everblades. Columbia is 1-1-1 against Florida this season and 20-22-5 all-time. The Everblades are currently is second place in the South Division with 26 points (13-6-0).

Jeff Miles has eight points (3g-5a) in his last seven games...Owen Fussey scored two goals in three games last week...Jeff Jakaitis played one game last week and only allowed one goal stopping 24 of 25 shots, regardless of the 1-0 lose to Charlotte...In two games, Todd Ford went 1-0-1, 1.46 goals against average and .947 save percentage.
