LAST WEEK: Fresno went 2-2-0 last week, dropping a decision to Utah, while taking two out of three from Bakersfield. The Falcons are 8-6-3 on the season for 19 points, and are in second place of the Pacific Division.

Monday, November 26 vs. Utah Grizzlies 7 FALCONS 2

Utah scored the game's first five goals on its way to a 7-2 win at Save Mart Center on Monday. Brett Hemingway got the Falcons on the board late in the second period, and Jarrett Konkle tallied early in the third to pull Fresno within three, but the Grizzlies answered with two quick goals midway through the period to set the final.

Friday, November 30 vs. Bakersfield Condors 8 FALCONS 1

After a scoreless first period, the Condors fired off three goals 4:31 apart midway through the second period to open a 3-0 lead. Igor Gongalsky tallied his fifth goal of the season 4:57 into the final period, but that was close as the Falcons got. Bakersfield went on to score five goals of its own in the third to record the seven-goal win.

Saturday, December 1 @ Bakersfield FALCONS 7 Condors 6 (SO)

Bakersfield started quickly with Tim Konsorada scoring just 1:08 into the contest. But, the Falcons wasted no time answering the goal, as Jarrett Konkle tied the game just eight seconds later. That started a four-goal run for Fresno, as the Falcons had a 4-1 lead early in the second period. The Condors came back within one, scoring twice midway through the period, but with a goal late in the second and just 41 seconds into the third, Fresno regained its three-goal lead. Bakersfield wasn't done, pulling within one on two quick goals in the first 3:21 of the final period, and then tying the score with under a minute left in regulation. The shootout took six rounds with Igor Gongalsky, who tallied a hat trick in regulation, recording the clinching score for the Falcons.

Sunday, December 2 vs. Bakersfield FALCONS 4 Condors 3 (OT)

Fresno recorded its second straight win over Bakersfield despite never leading in regulation. The Condors tallied two power-play goals early in the second period to open a 2-0 lead. Daryl Marcoux pulled the Falcons within one, scoring a shorthanded goal for his first professional goal at 4:59. Bakersfield's third power-play goal of the period opened a 3-1 lead at 14:06, but Igor Gongalsky answered with a power-play goal of his own at 15:41. Kenny MacAulay tied the game and forced overtime with his second goal of the season at 14:09 of the third period, and Brady Leisenring notched the game-winner 1:04 into the extra session.

- Igor Gongalsky tallied his first pro hat trick on Saturday, and has scored a goal in three straight games.

- Fresno has won two straight games when allowing the first goal, and is now 2-5-3 in that situation this season.

- Oren Eizenman has scored five of his eight goals on the power play.

- With eight goals in 17 games, Jarrett Konkle has already matched his goal total in 51 games with South Carolina last season.
