Condors Visit Kids For The Holidays

This Week:

Wednesday, December 13th: Condors players Jamie Hodson, Andrew Ianiero, Rane Carnegie, Mike Hofstrand and Brett Lutes will visit children on the pediatrics floor at Kern Medical Center, located at 1830 Flower St., from 3-4 p.m.

Thursday, December 14th: The Jamison Center will be putting on a Christmas show at 3 p.m. and Condors players Steve Rodberg, Joel Irving, Todd Griffith, Alex Rogosheske, Andrew Oke and Shawn Thompson will be in attendance to visit with kids and sign autographs after the show.

Friday, December 15th: Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd will attend Calvary Chapel Westbrook's Angel Tree Christmas to help pass out gifts and visit with kids at 6:30 p.m. For more information on holiday appearances please contact the Condors community relations department at 324- PUCK (7825).

Saturday, December 16th: The Condors will take on the Victoria Salmon Kings for a special NOON start time. This game marks the second Kids Club game, sponsored by Bright House Networks, Bakersfield Californian and Wells Fargo Bank and the first T.H.I.N.K. (Turn Hockey Into New Knowledge) game, brought to you by Mercy and Memorial Hospitals and ARRC Technology, where students participating in the Condors educational program will receive a free terrace level ticket. In addition, Stay Focused Ministries is holding a Toy Drive to benefit local children and anyone who donates a new, unwrapped toy will receive $1.00 terrace admission to the game. Diego, from the Go Diego Go Show, will be available for pictures, presented by Bright House Networks and La Preciosa 105.3.

Week in Review:

Tuesday, December 5th: Condors players Todd Griffith and Danny Taylor visited American Elementary for Rosedale Choir's Christmas Show and to pass out awards to students for their outstanding achievements.

Wednesday, December 6th: Condors players Sean Venedam, Kevin St. Jacques, Tyler Scott, Kevin Truelson, Scott Balan and Josh Liebenow helped raise funds for the Children's Miracle Network at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital. Players visited children on the pediatrics floor and helped raise $71,401 on behalf of the kids supported by the Children's Miracle Network.

Thursday, December 7th: The Condors joined KGET-TV 17 for the Bakersfield Christmas Parade. Condors players Scott Borders and David Kudelka rode on KGET-TV 17's float alongside Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd. For those that missed the parade, you can still see it via Bright House Networks video on demand Ch. 300.

Mark Your Calendars

Friday, December 22nd: Condors will battle the Utah Grizzlies. Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m.

Saturday, December 23rd: Condors will take on the Utah Grizzlies once again, presenting Dora the Explorer, brought to you by Bright House Networks, 101.5 KGFM and Instant Storage. The Salvation Army bell ringers will be collecting donations for the holiday season. They will be located in front of the main entrance on Truxtun Ave. Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m.

Just for Kids:

Saturday, December 16th: Kids Club members don't miss your second game of the season, Saturday, Dec. 16 is Kids Club Day! All Kids Club members will get into the game by showing their I.D. badge at the box office window. Doors open at 11 a.m., puck drops at noon. If you haven't picked up your Kids Club packet please stop by the Condors office, located at 1001 Truxtun Ave., between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. so you don't miss any of the action!

Baby Cal and Colonel Claw'd are looking for kids to join the coolest club in Condorstown for only $20. Membership includes a Kid's Club T-shirt, free admission to five games, membership card and exclusive gifts provided by the Bakersfield Californian, Bright House Networks and Wells Fargo Bank.

Parents can purchase the Kids Club corresponding ticket plan for as low as $54 and receive six (6) tickets to the Kids Club game nights, so that you can enjoy the game with your child. Sign up your child by coming into the front office located at 1001 Truxtun Ave or by visiting condorskids.com. Call the Condors Community Relations office for more information at 324-PUCK (7825).
