Dayton Bombers News Release

BOMBERS NOTES

*First Things First! The Bombers are 6-1-0 when scoring first this season and 5-0-0 when leading after the first period of play. Adam Berkhoel became the first Bombers goaltender this season to record a point when he picked up an assist in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Cyclones. Rookie defenseman Trevor Hendrikx scored his first professional goal and forward Philippe Dupuis picked up his first assist as a Bomber as well in the 4-3 win over the Cyclones on Saturday.

*Another Close Call! The Bombers stole two points away from Cincinnati Saturday by scoring the game winning goal with only 1:10 remaining in regulation, giving them a 4-3 victory. The Bombers are 6-1-1 in one-goal games this season and have played in a one-goal game in six of their last seven contests.

*Not Your Average Joe! Since returning to the Bombers line up after missing four games from an injury he sustained in the Cincinnati game on November 16th, center Joe Cullen has scored five points (2 G, 3 A) in his last four games.

* Bombs Away! The Bombers put up a season high 40 shots on goal and held the Johnstown Chiefs to a new low for Bombers opponents with 15 shots against in their 3-1 win on Friday. The Bombers have out shot their opponents 467-377 this season and lead the ECHL in least shots against per game, only yielding 25.13 per contest.
