The Chiefs visited North Division rival Dayton on Friday night, losing a tight game 3-1. Andrew Martens scored his first professional goal for Johnstown in the loss.

On Saturday, Johnstown returned home, where they dropped a close game to Reading 3-2 in overtime. Randy Rowe scored to tie the game for the Chiefs with 51 seconds remaining in the third period before Reading's James Hiebert scored the overtime winner on the power play.

The Bakersfield Condors flew into Johnstown on Sunday and beat the Chiefs 3-2. Doug Andress scored on the power play, and Brandon Elliott scored the Chiefs' first shorthand goal of the year

Great Performances:

Maxime Boisclair extended his point-scoring streak to eleven games, notching an assist in all three games over the weekend. Boisclair's streak began on November 12 at Reading, and during the eleven-game streak, the Montreal-raised Boisclair has scored seven goals and 12 assists.

Gerald Coleman and Morgan Cey continued their outstanding play in net for Johnstown. Coleman made 71 saves on 77 shots in the 3-1 loss to Dayton on Friday and the 3-2 loss to Bakersfield on Sunday. Morgan Cey made 25-of-28 saves in the 3-2 overtime loss to Reading on Saturday.

Dec. 8 @ Dayton (3-1 L)

Andrew Martens scored his first professional goal in the second period at the Nutter Center, but the Chiefs couldn't stop the Bombers and fell 3-1. Johnstown was 0-for-6 on the power play and Gerald Coleman made 37-of-40 saves in the loss.

Dec. 9 Vs. Reading (3-2 OTL)

Adam Henrich scored on the power-play, and Randy Rowe scored with 51 seconds remaining in the third period, but James Hiebert scored for Reading during an overtime power play to beat the Chiefs. Morgan Cey made 25 saves in the loss, and the Chiefs were 1-for-7 on the power play.

Dec. 10 Vs. Bakersfield (3-2 L)

Doug Andress scored a power-play goal and Brandon Elliott scored shorthanded for the Chiefs, but Bakersfield held on to get a 3-2 win. Gerald Coleman made 34-of-37 saves in the loss.

The Chiefs collected over 2,000 toys for the United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program at Saturday's game against Reading as part of the Eighth Annual Toys for Tots Toys Toss! The Chiefs and the United States Marine Corps thank their fans for the generosity in helping to make the holidays brighter for local children.
