LAST WEEK: Fresno went 1-2-0 on its three-game road trip to Alaska, winning the first game before dropping the final two. The Falcons are 12-9-0 for 24 points, and are in fourth place of the Pacific Division.

Wednesday, December 6 @ Alaska FALCONS 4 Aces 1

After falling behind 1-0 just 1:37 into the game, the Falcons reeled off four unanswered goals on their way to a 4-1 win. John Morlang tallied a pair of goals, while Dave Borrelli, scored the game-winning goal, his first goal with the Falcons. Ryan MacDonald turned aside 40 of 41 Alaska shots, including all 22 he faced in the third period.

Friday, December 8 @ Alaska Aces 3 FALCONS 1

The Aces again struck first, scoring a power-play goal 13:44 into the first period. Fresno pulled even less than three minutes later on Tyler Kindle's sixth goal of the season. That would be all the scoring for Fresno as Derek Gustafson blanked the Falcons the rest of way, and the Aces added single goals in the second and third period to pick up the win.

Saturday, December 9 @ Alaska Aces 2 FALCONS 1

Alaska tallied twice in the first period to open a 2-0 lead. It stayed that way until the 18:23 mark of the third period when Rob McFeeters notched a shorthanded goal to pull, Fresno within one. The Falcons had some scoring chances over the final 1:37 while still shorthanded, but were unable to tally the tying goal.

THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Friday, December 15 vs. Bakersfield 7:30 p.m.

The Falcons and Condors meet for the third of nine times this season. Fresno is 1-1-0 against Bakersfield this season, with the home team winning each of the first two meetings. The Condors are in third place of the Pacific Division with a record of 12-7-2 for 26 points.

PROMOTIONS: The Falcons will be wearing special holiday-themed jerseys which will be auctioned off following the game with all proceeds benefiting the American Red Cross Save a Family Fund. The Falcons are also asking all fans who attend the game on Friday to Donate 2LBS of non perishable food at the game. All food donations will be collected and donated to the Community Food Bank. The Falcons would like to collect at least 5000lbs of food at Friday's game. http://communityfoodbank.net/. Friday's game also features a special appearance by the Hooters Girls, and a very special appearance by one of Freddie Falcons best mascot friends, Jumpin' Jack.

Saturday, December 16 @ Las Vegas 7:05 p.m.

Fresno and Las Vegas meet for the fourth of eight times this season, and for the first of four times at Orleans Arena. The Falcons are 2-1-0 against the Wranglers, who lead the Pacific Division with a 13-2-7 record for 33 points.

Sunday, December 17 vs. Victoria 5:00 p.m.

The Falcons host the Salmon Kings for the first of five times this season. Fresno is 1-2-0 against Victoria this season after a three-game series in British Columbia last month. Victoria is in fourth place of the West Division with a 9-11-1 record for 19 points.

PROMOTIONS: All kids 14 and younger may purchase half price tickets to this game. The Falcons welcome back Dora Mora of Art by Dora to this Comcast Cable/Pump it Up Kids Day at the Save Mart Center. Dora will be on hand to teach the kids about painting before the game. Sunday's game also marks the unveiling of Freddie Falcon's Holiday Makeover. Following the game, fans will be able to skate with the Falcons. A limited supply of skates will be available, so the Falcons are encouraging all fans to bring their own skates to the game.

FALCONS NOTES

- The Falcons are scoreless on their last 22 power-play opportunities.

- Fresno has allowed at least one power-play goal in six consecutive games.

- In his last four appearances, Ryan MacDonald is 3-0-0 with a 1.48 goals-against average and a .956 save percentage.

- Falcons Head Coach Matt Thomas needs three wins to reach 100 in his coaching career.
