Fresno Falcons News Release
Your Fresno Falcons are back on home ice this Friday at the Save Mart Center when they battle the Evil Bakersfield Condors at 7:30pm. The Falcons will be wearing Holiday Hockey jerseys to be auctioned off after the game to benefit the American Red Cross Save A Family Campaign. http://www.fresnomaderaredcross.org/. During the First Intermission on Friday the Falcons will be honoring the Fresno/Madera County American Red Cross Volunteers on the ice.
The Falcons are also asking all fans who attend the game on Friday to Donate 2LBS of non perishable food at the game. All food donations will be collected and donated to the Community Food Bank. The Falcons would like to collect at least 5000lbs of food at Friday's game. http://communityfoodbank.net/
Friday's game also features a special appearance by the Hooters Girls, and a very special appearance by one of Freddie Falcons best mascot friends, Jumpin' Jack.
The Falcons will be seeking revenge against the Evil Bakersfield Condors who defeated Fresno on December 1 in Bakersfield at a game that featured a "Wipe Out The Falcons" Fresno Falcons Toilet Paper promotional giveaway. Your defending Pacific Division Champion Fresno Falcons currently trail the Condors in the Division by 2 points. This is a must see hockey game on Friday! All hands on deck for the Evil Condors, the Red Cross Jersey Auction, the Holiday Hockey Food Drive for the Community Bank, the Hooters Girls and Jumpin' Jack!
The Falcons travel to Las Vegas Saturday for a showdown with the Wranglers and return home for a 5pm KIDS DAY game against the Victoria Salmon Kings. All kids 14 and younger may purchase half price tickets to this game. The Falcons welcome back Dora Mora of Art by Dora to this Comcast Cable/Pump it Up Kids Day at the Save Mart Center. Dora is a very talented local artist who painted the Matt O'Dette piece that was given away last month on Ladies Night. Dora will be on hand to teach the kids about painting before the game.
Tickets are on sale at the Save Mart Center and Ticketmaster. For more information call the Falcons at 485-PUCK (7825).
