South Carolina Stingrays News Release
N. CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays game schedule has slowed down a bit from the busy October and November months giving the players a chance to be out more in the community. Mark your calendars for the following dates:
Tuesday, Dec. 12 - Join Brendan Bernakevitch, Viktor Dovgan, and Peter Szabo out at the Shoney's in North Charleston, located on Rivers Ave., from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The players will be available for pictures and autographs as they sit down to enjoy a nice meal at Shoney's.
Wednesday Dec. 13 - Involved in the CYHA? Ryan Bennett, Chris Chaput, and Jamie Fraser will be attending the hockey practices at the Carolina Ice Palace tonight to show the young skaters a few pointers.
Thursday, Dec. 14 - T.J. McElroy and Scott Romfo, along with Cool Ray, will be out at the Hair Cuttery located off Dorchester Road from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to sign autographs. Hair Cuttery is a proud sponsor of the South Carolina Stingrays Kid's Club.
Thursday, Dec. 14 - Also on the 14th, brought to the community by the Stingrays Kid's Club, Cail MacLean, Davis Parley, and Josh Anderson will be out at My Gym in Mt. Pleasant from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The players will be going over the importance of nutrition, exercise, and stretching with the children. This event is open to the public.
Monday, Dec. 18 - Members of the Stingrays will be at the MUSC Children's Hospital to visit with the children and help put together gifts donated from the Booster Association and the Stingrays.
Monday, Dec. 18 - The entire team will be watching football and eating dinner out at George's in West Ashley starting at 8 p.m. Are you a Cincinnati or Indianapolis fan? Cheer your team to victory with your favorite hockey team on Monday night.
Tuesday, Dec. 19 - Donny Grover will be at Sangaree Middle School for their Career Day as he talks about the importance of education, especially to a professional athlete. He will be talking with the kids from 1: 15 p.m. until 3 p.m.
The South Carolina Stingrays next home game is Saturday, Dec. 16th as they face-off against the Florida Everblades for the first time this season. It's Moe's Southwest Grill Night. Stop by your local Moe's for your chance to play dodgeball against the Moe's employees Saturday night at the game.
