Attendance: 3,504
Kevin St. Jacques scored his 20th goal of the season and Ryan Munce stopped all 32 shots faced as the Bakersfield Condors shut out the Long Beach Ice Dogs 2-0 and clinched a spot in the 2006 Kelly Cup Playoffs.
Friday, March 17th

Attendance: 5,856
Joel Irving scored twice, including the game- winning goal on a second period power play as the Bakersfield Condors defeated the Phoenix Roadrunners 5-2. Scott Balan recorded three assists in the victory.
Saturday, March 18th
CONDORS 4 vs. Phoenix 1
Attendance: 6,536
Marty Magers picked up his first home victory, stopping 50 shots in the Condors' 4-1 win over the Phoenix Roadrunners. Four different Condors scored a goal in Bakersfield's third consecutive win.

The Condors (32-23-5, 69 points) are six points behind 2nd-place Long Beach Ice Dogs. Bakersfield has played two fewer games than Long Beach with one head-to-head match-up left. The San Diego Gulls (28-26-5, 61 pts) trail Bakersfield by five points in the Pacific Division.

Recent Transactions
As the trade deadline approached on Wednesday, the Condors made moves to acquire Nathan Tennant from the Dayton Bombers (for future considerations) and Shaun Fisher from the Phoenix Roadrunners (for future considerations). Brian Collins was placed on the 30-Day Injured Reserve on Saturday, March 18th. On Sunday, the Condors signed defenseman Sean Clark out of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Injury Report
Collins joins Sean Venedam (30-Day from Mar. 7th), Scott Borders (30-Day from Mar. 7) and Nick Economakos (30-Day from Mar. 1st) on the 30-Day Injured Reserve and eligible to return in time for the playoffs. The 7-Day Injured Reserve is currently occupied by Oriel McHugh (placed on IR Mar. 14th) and Andrew Ianiero (placed on IR Mar. 12th).
