Clones Acquire Former Steelhead Mike Hanson

Cincinnati, OH-Cyclones general manager and coach Chris Cichocki announced today that the team has acquired Mike Hanson from the Idaho Steelheads in exchange for cash considerations. The 5'11, 210-pound center was added to the Cyclones' roster this afternoon.

Hanson comes to the Clones after playing ten games for the Idaho Steelheads this season. In those games, Hanson did not record a point while accumulating 55 penalty minutes.

Hanson split last season between St. Thomas University in Canada and Quad City of the United Hockey League. With St. Thomas, Hanson scored 16 goals and added 23 assists for 39 points in 28 games. In Quad City, Hanson had four goals and four assists for eight points in ten games. During Quad City 's playoff run, Hanson played 12 games accumulating four goals and two assists for six points with 31 penalty minutes.

The Clones return to the ice on Wednesday when the Dayton Bombers visit U.S. Bank Arena. The Clones host their closest rival at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
