
Titans Go 3-0-1, Look Ahead to AC

TRENTON, NJ - The Titans went undefeated during regulation over four games at Sovereign Bank Arena this week. Their lone loss came Tuesday night against the Reading Royals 3-2 in an overtime shootout. The Titans are 0-2 versus the Royals this season.
On Wednesday the Titans welcomed the Toledo Storm to SBA for the beginning of a two-game series. The Titans scored goal just :16 apart in the third period to seal the 3-1 win. Saturday, Titans goaltender Chris Houle pitched the shutout and a 2-0 victory. The Titans finished up the week on Sunday afternoon against the Las Vegas Wranglers. A late power play goal by Matt Zultek gave the Titans the lead and they were able to hold on 2-1.
Trenton begins a stretch of seven consecutive games versus division opponents with a home and home series this weekend against the Boardwalk Bullies. The Bullies visit SBA on Friday night at 7:30pm and the Titans will travel down to Boardwalk Hall on Saturday. Game time is 7:05pm.
LAST WEEK:
Tuesday, November 11 vs. Reading - 7:00pm 2-3 (OT-L) Sovereign Bank Arena
- The Titans fought back from a 2-0 deficit to send it into overtime. Cody Rudkowsky gave up the first goal to Scooter Smith during the shootout, but shut the door the rest of the way. Brad Church notched the game winner for Royals. Bill Cass scored his first goal of the season to tie the score 2-2.
Wednesday, November 12 vs. Toledo - 7:00pm 3-1 Sovereign Bank Arena
- Joe Rybar and Bill Cass scored 16 seconds apart in the 3rd period to break a 1-1 tie and give the Titans the win. Bill Cass scored his second goal in two games and Scott Bertoli tallied two assists. Rookie goaltender Chris Houle turned away 19 of 20 shots for his first professional win.
Saturday, November 15 vs. Toledo - 7:00pm 2-0 Sovereign Bank Arena
- Chris Houle stopped all 34 shots he faced for his second professional win and his first career shutout. Scott Bertoli's first goal of the year was the game-winner and Chris Barr, newly acquired defensemen from the Florence Pride, put in the empty netter for his first professional goal.
Sunday, November 16 vs. Las Vegas - 7:00pm 2-1 Sovereign Bank Arena
- Chris Houle continued his winning ways, making 19 saves on 20 shots and his extended winning streak to three. Matt Zultek scored his team leading 10th goal on the power play during the third period to put the Titans up 2-1.
THIS WEEK:
Friday, November 21 vs. Atlantic City - 7:30pm Sovereign Bank Arena
- The second home and home series for these two teams over the last three weeks. The Titans hold the season series advantage 2-1. Last time at SBA, the Titans eeked out a 2-1 win as Andrew Allen made 31 of 32 saves.
Saturday, November 22 @ Atlantic City - 7:05 pm Boardwalk Hall
- The Titans swept the last home and home series against the Bullies on 11/06/03 and 11/07/03. Joe Rybar and Mathieu Brunelle each had a goal and an assist in a 4-1 victory for Trenton.

ECHL Player of the Week Nominee:
Scott Bertoli - Bertoli recorded 1G, 4A and is on a four-game scoring streak. He tallied the game winner Saturday night against Toledo and assisted on the Matt Zultek's game winner Sunday versus Las Vegas.
ECHL Goalie of the Week Nominee:
Chris Houle - Houle started his professional career on Wednesday night against Toledo and has yet to lose. He is 3-0-0 with a 0.67 GAA and a .973 save percentage.
