The Nailers are sixth in the ECHL in goals for per game at 3.46, they are also tied for 13th in the league in goals against per game at 2.85. Wheeling is sixth in the league in shots on goals for per game with 34.69, and seventh in the league in shots on goal against per game with 26.77.
Friday, November 14 Wheeling 1 @ Johnstown 3
The Nailers played the Chiefs for the first of nine regular season meetings and the first of two for the weekend and lost 3-1. Johnstown scored two first period power play goals to take a 2-0 lead. Jason Notermann scored the first goal at 1:32 and Steve Hildenbrand scored the second at 10:53. The Nailers scored a power play goal at 13:18 to cut their deficit to 2-1. Dan Ennis scored his first goal of the season from Arpad Mihaly and Mark Kosick. Johnstown scored the final goal of the game at 7:19 of the third period. Tyler MacKay made 26 saves on 29 shots in the loss.
Saturday, November 15 Reading 1 @ Wheeling 5
The Nailers continued their perfect record against the Royals with this win. The Nailers are 3-0-0 against the Royals in the first three games played. Jason Jaffray scored the first goal of the game at 13:24 of the first period from Chris McNamara and Mike Lephart. The goal was scored with a delayed penalty coming against Reading. The Royals tied the game 1-1 with a two-man advantage power play goal at 15:31 of the second period. Wheeling scored four third period goals to improve their home record to 5-0-1. Ben Blais scored his first goal of the season at 6:58 from Steve Crampton and Arpad Mihaly. Mark Kosick made it a 3-1 game at 8:34 with Mihaly and Crampton assisting. Lepart scored the third goal of the period from McNamara and Jaffray at 11:52. McNamara ended the scoring at 16:54 with Lephart and Jaffray assisting on the goal. Martin Brochu recorded his sixth win of the season by making 21 saves on 22 shots.
Sunday, November 16 Johnstown 3 @ Wheeling 1
For the second time on the weekend the Nailers lost to the Chiefs by a 3-1 score. This was the first loss in regulation at home for the Nailers this season. With the loss the Nailers are 5-1-1 at WesBanco Arena. Johnstown took a 1-0 lead at 7:09 of the first period on a Shawn Mather goal. The Nailers tied the game 1-1 at 9:42 of the second period. Kamil Kuriplach scored his second goal of the season from Steve Crampton and Arpad Mihaly. The chiefs scored twice in the second period to take a 3-1 lead. Neither team scored in the third period. Martin Brochu made 17 saves on 20 shots in the loss.

Friday, November 21 Wheeling @ Johnstown 7:00p.m.
The Nailers and the Chiefs play the third game of nine during the regular season and second in Johnstown. The Chiefs have won the first two meeting by identical 3-1 scores.
Saturday, November 22 Wheeling @ Toledo 7:30p.m.
The Nailers travel to Toledo for the second time this season, having won the first time 4-2 on November 8. The Nailers lost to Toledo in Wheeling on November 1 in a shootout by a 3-2 score. The Nailers are 1-0-1 against Toledo this season.
Player of the Week
The Nailers Player of the Week is Arpad Mihaly. Mihaly had at least one point in all three games over the Weekend as the Nailers went 1-2-0. Mihaly assisted on the only goal in a 3-1 loss in Johnstown on Friday night. He also had two assists in a 5-1 win at home against Reading on Saturday night. Mihaly ended his weekend by assisting on the only goal in a 3-1 loss to Johnstown at home Sunday afternoon.
Goaltender of the Week
The Nailers Goaltender of the Week is Martin Brochu. Brochu went 1-1-0 in two games over the weekend. He made 21 saves on 22 shots in a 5-1 win at home against Reading on Saturday night. He lost 3-1 Sunday against Johnstown by making 17 saves on 20 shots. For the weekend he made 38 saves on 42 shots for a .905 save percentage. He also had a goals against average of 2.03.
