LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 1-1-1 OVERALL RECORD: 6-5-1, 13 pts.

Nov. 11 @ Texas – Greg Bullock scored a natural hat trick and Terry Friesen made 34 saves in a 6-4 victory at Texas.

Nov. 14 @ Long Beach – Fresno's 11-game road trip to begin the season finally came to an end with a 5-1 loss at Long Beach. Brad Mehalko spoiled Colin Zulianello's shutout bid mid-way through the third period.

Nov. 16 vs. Bakersfield – The Falcons played their first game at Save Mart Center at Fresno State in front of the largest crowd in team history. The 12,462 in attendance made for the second largest home-opening crowd in ECHL history, behind the 14,108 that saw the Greenville Grrrowl play their inaugural game at the BI-LO Center in 1998. The evening was spoiled by the visiting Condors, though, when Johan Astrom scored the game-winning goal :36 seconds into overtime as the Falcons fell, 4-3.

THIS WEEK'S UPCOMING GAMES

The Falcons remain road warriors for the next two weeks as five of their next six are away from Save Mart Center, including two of three this week.

Wednesday, Nov. 19 @ San Diego, 7 p.m. (Live radio broadcast on KAAT 103.1 FM 6:50 p.m.)

Friday, Nov. 21 vs. Long Beach, 7 p.m. – The first 2,500 fans will receive a Falcons license plate holder courtesy of Rent-a-Center. Radio broadcast on KAAT 103.1 FM will be tape delayed beginning at approximately 10 p.m. Tape-delayed television broadcast on KJEO non-cable Channel 32 will air at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23.

Saturday, Nov. 22 @ Bakersfield, 7 p.m. (Live radio broadcast on KAAT 103.1 FM 6:50 p.m.)

NOTES

· Fresno's home-opening crowd of 12,462 is the largest in the ECHL this season.

· Greg Bullock had at least one point in all three games last week in addition to his hat trick on Tuesday, bringing his league-high point streak to 12 consecutive games (6g-12a).

· Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss marked the first time the Falcons have lost this year when scoring the game's first goal. They are now 4-0-1 when scoring first.

· The Falcons start the week in fourth place, three points behind both the second-place Alaska Aces and Idaho Steelheads and eight points behind the first-place Las Vegas Wranglers.

· Fresno is 9th (19.5%) in the league on the power play this season and 17th (81.8%) on the penalty kill.

THIS WEEK'S PRACTICE TIMES

The Falcons will practice on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Gateway Ice Center before leaving for San Diego later in the day. They will skate at 10 a.m. on Friday at Save Mart Center in advance of playing the Ice Dogs later that night.
