The Chiefs kept the fireworks going in the bottom of the inning, taking the lead. Watkins reached on a fielders' choice after laying down a sacrifice bunt then advanced to second on a Cerda walk. DJ Fitzgerald doubled to left to score both runners before Justin Bour hit an opposite-field home run to give the Chiefs a 5-4 lead.
