Chiefs Fall to Titans

Johnstown, PA- Scott Bertoli had a hat trick and an assist to lead the visiting Trenton Titans to a 5-2 win over the Johnstown Chiefs Friday night at the War Memorial.

Trenton jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first period with goals from Connor Dunlop, Rick Kowalsky and Bertoli. The Chiefs got a second period power play goal from Joe Tallari. Steve Hildenbrand scored at 3:02 in the third period for the Chiefs.

David Cann started in goal for the Chiefs playing in the first period allowing three goals while making nine saves. David Currie played the final two periods allowing two goals, stopping thirteen Titans shots including a penalty shot by Mathieu Brunelle in the second period.

The Chiefs fall to 12-7-9 on the season. Trenton improves to 18-7-4.

The Chiefs are back in action tomorrow night when they host the Bakersfield Condors at 7:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon they host the Reading Royals at 3:00 p.m. Sunday is also a Heluva Good Quality Foods Kid's Sunday. All children's tickets are just $1.

Following the game there will be a "Skate With the Chiefs," and autograph session with the entire team. Skate rentals will not be available.
