Reading Goals: Children who've completed the required three hours of reading as part of the "Griff's Reading Goals" program can redeem their voucher at The Zone or at the Van Andel Arena box office for two free upper bowl tickets to this game. Subject to availability.
Post-Game Autographs: Presented by Huntington Bank, three Griffins players will sign autographs from the players' bench following the game.
Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009 vs. Peoria Rivermen
Time: 4 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 3 p.m.).
Super Sunday: Fans can enjoy $1 Pepsi products and $1 Cole's Breadsticks from 3-5 p.m.
Player Card Strip: The first 1,000 kids ages 12 and younger will receive a Griffins player card strip, courtesy of Play N Trade Alpine.
GiveBackHolidays407.jpg Griffins Give Back: A minimum of 1,000 lower bowl tickets for this game will be distributed to the unemployed through three Grand Rapids offices of Michigan Works (1560 Leonard NE, 121 Franklin St. Ste 120, and 622 Godfrey SW). While supplies last, those who visit Michigan Works in person and present both proof of unemployment and a valid Michigan photo I.D. can receive up to four free tickets. Thanks to the support of a generous Griffins sponsor, children 12 and younger who attend through the "Griffins Give Back" program will receive a free Lil' Kinz stuffed plush toy as a holiday gift (while supplies last), when parents present their Michigan Works ticket inside the arena's banquet room from 3-4 p.m.

Library Night: Fans who present their Grand Rapids Public Library or Kent District Library Cards at the Van Andel Arena box office on the night of the game or at The Zone anytime during regular business hours (M-F 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Sat. 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.) can purchase a lower bowl ticket for just $10, a savings of $7. Limit four tickets per card per person.

Ring in the New Year: The Griffins will host their 13th annual New Year's Eve Extravaganza. Fans can stay after the game to enjoy West Michigan's largest indoor fireworks show.
Jersey Auction: A fierce interpretation of Griff will be featured on special jerseys that will be worn by the Griffins and auctioned after the game to benefit the GVSU club roller hockey team. The jersey, designed by local artist Chad B. Stilson, was one of two winners selected through the Griffins' jersey design contest last summer.
