
Bulldogs Looking To Maul Moose Tonight

Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs (17-25-0-2) take on the Manitoba Moose (25-13-3-2) tonight in the first of back-to-back games at the MTS Centre. The Bulldogs will be looking for their second consecutive victory, while the Moose will be in search of their third straight win. Hamilton has a record of 1-1-0-1 against Manitoba this season.
The last time these two teams met on January 7 at Copps Coliseum, the Bulldogs defeated the Moose by a score of 3-2. Johnathan Aitken, Peter Vandermeer, and Jean-Francois Jacques scored for Hamilton, while Jesse Shultz and ex-Dog Sven Butenschon had goals for Manitoba. Hamilton netminder Yann Danis stopped 32 of 34 shots and was named the game's second star.

BULLDOGS NOTES
- C Maxim Lapierre scored his second shorthanded goal of the season in Hamilton's 3-1 victory over the Rochester Americans on Sunday, January 22 and is now tied with Andrei Kostitsyn for the team lead. Lapierre's goal was also his second game-winning marker of the season and moved him into a tie with Francis Lemieux, Corey Locke, Marc-Antoine Pouliot, and Peter Vandermeer for the team lead.
- D James Sanford has recorded one point in each of his last three games (1g-2a).
- LW Pierre Dagenais has collected one assist in each of his last two games. Dagenais played in his 300th career AHL game on Jan. 22.
- D Dan Smith has recorded one assist in each of his last two games.
