Winnipeg, MB - The Hamilton Bulldogs dropped a 4-2 decision to the Manitoba Moose on Friday night at the MTS Centre. The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-26-0-2.

James Sanford gave the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead when he scored a power-play goal at the 10:20 mark of the first period. Sanford's shot from the left point hit the stick of a Moose player in the slot and beat Manitoba goaltender Maxime Ouellet.

The Moose then scored three goals in a span of 2:07 to take a 3-1 lead. Prestin Ryan tied the game at 16:57 when he fired a wrist shot through traffic that eluded Hamilton netminder Jeff Deslauriers. Ryan Bayda gave Manitoba a 2-1 lead at 18:27 when Brett Skinner's point shot was partially blocked by a Bulldogs player and the puck bounced onto the stick of Bayda, who took a backhand a shot from the slot. The Moose scored their third goal of the game just 37 seconds later when Lee Goren skated down the left wing and snapped a shot from the face-off circle over the left shoulder of Deslauriers.

Yann Danis replaced Deslauriers in the Bulldogs net to start the second period.

Hamilton forward Brad Winchester cut Manitoba's lead to one goal 6:56 into the middle stanza when he fired a snap shot from the face-off circle. Bayda restored Manitoba's two-goal lead just 1:40 later when he was positioned at the side of the crease and buried the rebound of a Jason Jaffray shot.

Manitoba outshot Hamilton 10-4 in a scoreless third period.

Deslauriers made five saves and suffered the loss, while Danis stopped 19 of 20 shots in relief. Ouellet blocked 17 of 19 shots to earn the victory.
