Bridgeport Islanders Announce 2021-22 Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Bridgeport Islanders, American Hockey League affiliate of the New York Islanders, have announced their 2021-22 regular-season schedule.
"I'm very pleased with how our schedule turned out, especially the fact that we have some really good home dates for fans," Islanders President of Business Operations Brent Rossi said. "When you take a step back and look at it, there's a great balance to the schedule, both from a fan and team perspective."
"I think there's a strong appetite for fans and families in our area to come out and this is going to be a special season for many different reasons," Rossi added.
Bridgeport will present a family-friendly schedule that features 30 of the team's 36 home games on a weekend date. The home schedule includes 12 Saturday nights, 12 Sunday afternoons and six Friday night games. The home opener is slated for Saturday, Oct. 23rd at 7 p.m. against the Springfield Thunderbirds at Webster Bank Arena.
The Islanders will begin the 2021-22 campaign with four road games, including the season opener on Friday, Oct. 15th against the Hartford Wolf Pack at the XL Center. The club then heads to Providence on Saturday, Oct. 16th and Springfield on Sunday, Oct. 17th to complete its opening weekend.
The team's full promotional schedule with specifics on the home opener, all other theme nights and details on single-game tickets will be released later this summer. Group tickets are on sale now, which offer discounted pricing along with exclusive benefits such as an opportunity to get a Bridgeport Islanders hat for every member of the group, recognition on the videoboard, and access to exclusive group outing experiences.
The Islanders will host a pair of school-day events on Wednesday, Feb. 2nd and Tuesday, Apr. 5th, featuring a 10:30 a.m. puck drop on both dates. The Lehigh Valley Phantoms and Hershey Bears will visit Webster Bank Arena, respectively.

- The Islanders will face every Eastern Conference team except Cleveland
- Sixty (60) of the 72 games (83.3%) are against Atlantic Division opponents

- Home Games by Month: October (4), November (4), December (6), January (5), February (6), March (5), April (6)
