Blazers Select Quinn Benjafield in First Round of WHL Bantam Draft

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers are pleased to announce that they have selected Quinn Benjafield with the 19th overall pick in the first round of the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft. Benjafield is from North Vancouver, BC and played this season with the North Shore Winter Club Bantam AAA hockey club.

The dynamic forward played 70 games this season and scored 63 goals, added 69 assists for 132 points. The 1998-born forward is listed at 6'0" and 155lbs.

Benjafield was a big part of the success of the NSWC Bantam AAA team during the season. His team won the prestigious St. Albert tournament and the B.C. Bantam AAA title before falling to South Side Athletic Club out of Edmonton in the Western Canadian Bantam Championships.
