Winterhawks Announce Local Television Schedule for WHL Championship Series

Calgary, AB - Every game of the WHL Championship Series between the Portland Winterhawks and Edmonton Oil Kings will be televised live locally in the Portland area, with games split between Comcast SportsNet Northwest and ROOT Sports.

The networks will be picking up the SHAW Communications production broadcast live across Western Canada. It will feature the play-by-play of Dan Russell, colour from Bill Wilms, with Peter Loubardias serving up analysis. SHAW's WHL Central host Andy Neal will provide exclusive features, news and highlights throughout the Championship Series.

Games 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be seen on Comcast SportsNet, while Games 2 and 7 will be seen on ROOT Sports. The full schedule is as follows (home games in bold, all times Pacific):

Game 1, Comcast SportsNet Northwest: Friday, May 3 at the Rose Garden, 7 p.m.

Game 2, ROOT Sports: Saturday, May 4 at the Rose Garden, 7 p.m.

Game 3, Comcast SportsNet Northwest: Tuesday, May 7 @ Edmonton, 6 p.m.

Game 4, Comcast SportsNet Northwest: Wednesday, May 8 @ Edmonton, 6 p.m.

Game 5*, Comcast SportsNet Northwest: Friday, May 10 at the Rose Garden, 7 p.m.

Game 6*, Comcast SportsNet Northwest: Sunday, May 12 at Edmonton, 3 p.m.

Game 7*, ROOT Sports: Monday, May 13 at the Rose Garden, 7 p.m.
