Pats Select Luc Smith in Third Round of WHL Bantam Draft

Regina, Saskatchewan - With their third round pick (60th overall) in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft, the Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to select forward, Luc Smith.

Smith (6'3", 185 lbs) played with the Spruce Grove PAC Saints this season, totaling 43 points (29G, 19A) in 29 games through the AMBHL season.

"Luc is a big, strong power forward," says Pats GM Chad Lang. "He shows tremendous character, and has proven leadership skills being the captain of his club team this season."

The Pats next selection will be in the fourth round, 68th overall.
