Raiders Select Paivarinta 46th Overall

Prince Albert SK- The Prince Albert Raiders selected defenceman Cody Paivarinta of Abbotsford in the 3rd round, 46th overall earlier this morning at the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft.
The 6'5", 185-pound defenceman played this season with Abbotsford Hawks of the Pacific Coast Bantam Hockey League.
"He's a big defenseman and a good skater who moves the puck," said Raiders Director of Player Personnel Dale Derkatch. "A player of that size at 14 has a lot of filling out to do and as he fills out we look for this guy to really blossom. We are very excited to have him."
