Cougars Acquire Tyler Mrkonjic from Tri-City Americans

Prince George, B.C. - The Prince George Cougars have acquired 1996-born forward Tyler Mrkonjic from the Tri-City Americans. In return, the Cougars part with a fourth round pick in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft.

Last season Mrkonjic (6'2", 170 pounds) recorded 10 goals and 18 points in 30 games with the St. Albert Raiders (Midget AAA). He also played eight games with the Spruce Grove Saints in the Alberta Junior Hockey League where he scored two goals and one assist. He was originally a fourth round pick (82nd overall) of the Tri-City Americans in the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft.
