Wheeling, WV - The Wheeling Nailers are playing their first home games in three weeks as they get geared up for the sprint to the finish line in the American Conference playoff chase. We want you there at WesBanco Arena cheering for your hometown team! The Nailers have 13 games remaining in the regular season, 9 of which will be home games.
It's been a long seven game road-trip for the team so we're ready to welcome them back in style with three big home games in three days this weekend!
The Nailers are in the thick of a heated race in the standings for one of the coveted eight playoff spots. Wheeling trails the Reading Royals by just one point for the final spot. With three big games this weekend, the Nailers could find themselves rapidly moving up the standings if they can defend their home ice.
The Wheeling Nailers also have some big promotions in store for you.
Friday's game is a WTRF-Friday Family 4-pack night. Awesome value packages featuring 4 tickets, 4 sodas, 4 hot dogs and a large popcorn all for just $44 available for all Friday home games.
Saturday's game is O.V. McBear Bobblehead Giveaway for the first 2500 fans in attendance courtesy of OVMC and CORE.
Sunday's game is Skate with the Team Day on Sunday Family Funday. Open skate on the ice after the game with the Wheeling Nailers players happens on every Sunday home game.
Don't forget about the team Meet and Greet on Tuesday, March 9. It happens at the Perkins on National Road in Wheeling from 6-8pm. C'mon out and meet the Nailers and get autographs and pics!
