
Didiomete, Roche Return To Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC-Charlotte Checkers head coach and general manager Derek Wilkinson announced today that fan-favorite agitator Devin DiDiomete and top-line winger Kenny Roche have been returned to the team from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.
Roche, who is under ECHL contract with the Checkers, was loaned to the Wolf Pack on Jan. 23 while DiDiomete, who is property of the New York Rangers, was recalled to Hartford from Charlotte on Nov. 24. Both players are expected to be in the lineup tonight then the Checkers host the Cincinnati Cyclones.
In 34 games with the Checkers, Roche has 16 goals and 13 assists to go along with 40 penalty minutes. The native of South Boston, Mass. notched four goals and four assists in 14 AHL games with the Wolf Pack.
DiDiomete enjoyed a six-game stint in Charlotte earlier in the season that saw him collect two goals, an assist and 46 penalty minutes. In 34 games with Hartford, the hard-nosed winger collected two assists while amassing 119 minutes in penalties.
Prior to turning pro, DiDiomete notched 66 goals, 81 assists and added 736 penalty minutes over four seasons with Sudbury and Sarnia of the Ontario Hockey League.
The Checkers (30-19-6) will host the North Division-leading Cincinnati Cyclones tonight at Time Warner Cable Arena. Game time is 7 p.m. and ticket information can be found by calling 704-342-4423 or by visiting www.gocheckers.com.

Reynolds ranks second in the ECHL with 224 penalty minutes and is tied for third in overall plus-minus with a +22 rating...Julien Brouillette and Derek Couture are up with Hartford (AHL), Ethan Graham is with Texas (AHL) while Matt Ford and Randy Rowe are with Lake Erie (AHL)...Codey Burki, Chris Chappell, Trevor Glass and Chris Snavely are on the 21-day injured reserve.
