Jackals To Hold Alumni Game
March 3, 2010 - ECHL (ECHL)
Elmira Jackals News Release
As part of their celebration of "Ten Years in the Twin Tiers" and in partnership with Seneca Beverage, the Elmira Jackals will be holding the Labatt Blue Elmira Jackals Alumni Game on Saturday, Mar. 27 at First Arena, with the contest starting at 7:35 p.m.
The game will feature some of the most popular Jackals players from past years. Eddy Lowe, Carl Drakensjo, Tom, Clayton, James Sheehan, and Trevor Burgess are among the players expected to return to Elmira for this night in which memories come to life.
"This is an exciting event that will give some of our former great players a chance to skate in front of the best fans in the ECHL one more time. We are looking forward to giving our fans the opportunity to see some of their favorite players once again," Jackals general manager Robbie S. Nichols said.
After the game, the Jackals will hold a party to celebrate the game at a local area establishment, with exact location to be determined. The players will also be available for a meet and greet with fans after the Jackals' game against the Trenton Devils on Friday, Mar. 26.
Tickets to the event start at $12, and are available by visiting the First Arena Box Office, calling (607) 734-PUCK (7825), or logging onto Ticketmaster.com.
The current Jackals welcome the Johnstown Chiefs to Elmira on Friday, Mar. 5 before hosting the Kalamazoo Wings on Saturday, Mar. 6. Both games start at 7:35 p.m.
