Big Dogs Come to Play as Blades Beat Hurricanes 5-1

CLEAR FORECAST: The Saskatoon Blades weathered the Lethbridge Hurricanes Saturday at SaskTel Centre with a 5-1 victory. Forward Jake Chiasson earned first star honours with a goal and an assist, while rookie winger Jordan Keller collected two apples for himself. The Blades sweep their three-game homestand and have the third most points in the WHL with 87 thanks to a 41-13-4-1 record.

CHADDY THE BADDY: Netminder Ethan Chadwick wasn't too busy in the crease but did steer aside 19 of 20 shots against. The Saskatoon, SK. product has won his last four straight starts, and now sports a record of 20-8-1-1.

NEXT GAME: The grind continues as Saskatoon plays their third game in as many days Sunday vs the Regina Pats at the Brandt Centre.
