Conor Geekie scored three goals to lead the Winnipeg ICE to an 8-3 decision over the Brandon Wheat Kings Saturday night at Westoba Place.

Ty Nash, Easton Armstrong, Ben Zloty, Zach Benson and Connor McClennon rounded out the attack as the ICE improved to 7-0 this season in the Battle of Manitoba presented by Taylor McCaffery Lawyers.

Geekie and Zloty led Winnipeg with five shots each as the visitors outshot Brandon 33-28.

Nate Danielson, Calder Anderson and Nolan Flamand replied for the Wheat Kings.

Mason Beaupit made 25 saves for the ICE. Brandon's Nicholas Jones allowed six goals on 22 shots over the opening 34:43. Ethan Eskit stopped nine of 11 in relief.

The ICE conclude their 10-game road trip with an 8-2 record. They now lead the WHL with a 49-9-1 mark returning to the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena to start a three game homestand Tuesday at 7:00 against the Medicine Hat Tigers.
