
Pederson Signs AHL Contract

The Winnipeg ICE congratulate forward Owen Pederson on signing a two-year American Hockey League contract with the Providence Bruins.
The 21 year old just completed his fifth WHL season with the ICE, registering career highs in games played (65), goals (32), assists (42), points (74) penalty minutes (38) and plus minus (+31). In 19 playoff games en route to Winnipeg winning the WHL's Eastern Conference Championship, Pederson had 20 points (nine goals and 11 assists).
In 237 regular season WHL games, Pederson had 205 points (94 goals and 111 assists) along with 108 penalty minutes. He also registered 32 points (13 goals and 19 assists) in 33 WHL playoff games.
Pederson was selected by the ICE in the fifth round, 89th overall in the 2017 WHL Prospects Draft.
