Tonight

The Saskatoon Blades (40-13-4-1) welcome the Lethbridge Hurricanes (32-21-3-3) to SaskTel Centre tonight for RE/MAX Presents: Nickelodeon Night for Children's Miracle Network!

Tonight's the last collision between Saskatoon and Lethbridge in the regular season. The visitors hold a 2-1 edge in the season-series, taking a win both in the Blades barn and the ENMAX Centre. All contests have been low scoring with neither team netting more than three against the other in a single game.

The Blades are red hot lately winning seven of their last eight outings, the latest being a 4-1-win last night vs the Moose Jaw Warriors (35-22-0-3). Blades forward Brandon Lisowsky extended his point streak to five games with an assist, while NHL draft-eligible defenceman Tanner Molendyk scored his seventh goal of the campaign. It's the 19th time in franchise history Saskatoon's reached 40 wins in a year.

Sitting third in the Eastern Conference with 85 points, Saskatoon continues heating up as playoffs loom.

Who to Watch

Vitebsk, Belarus' own Egor Sidorov is gaining attention from scouts everywhere ahead of the upcoming NHL Entry Draft. The 6-foot sniper has back-to-back multi-goal games after a two-goal performance yesterday and two Wednesday at home vs the Red Deer Rebels. A fan-favourite in the Paris of the Prairies, Sidorov has three hat-tricks on the year, and leads the team with 37 goals and 15 powerplay markers. In 47 games, the 18-year-old sophomore has a career-high 70 points, double his 35 total set last year in 58 games.

Dallas Stars prospect Conner Roulette notched his 100th career WHL assist on Molendyk's opening tally yesterday. The Winnipeg, MB. Playmaker sent a slick feed over to his defenceman achieving the milestone about halfway through the second period. In 50 games this season, the former Seattle Thunderbird has 21 goals and 53 points, 13 shy of his career-best 66 set last season in 65 games.

Blades defenceman Ben Saunderson, also known as "Dawg", is always ready to lay a big hit in a game. The Carberry, MB. native is known for play in his own end, but has three assists in his last six games. PAW Patrol night makes Dawg a must-watch player while he's having a career year one goal and 11 points in 55 games.
