Attack Take Gates in 6 and Sansom in 8th

The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce they have selected forward Brent Gates in the 6th Round Pick and Colton Sansom with their 8th Round Round Pick in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection.

Gates spent the 2012/2013 season with the Detroit Compuware Under 16 team where he tallied 9 goals and 8 assists in 25 games. The 6'1, 176lb centre hails from Grand Rapids, MI.

With their 8th Round Selection, the Attack picked Colton Sansom, a teammate of Attack 2nd Round Pick Tyler MacArthur. In 60 games, the 6'2, 165lb winger tallied 32 goals and 15 assists for 47 points.

"Both of these young men add size and grit to our organization." Said General Manager Dale DeGray. "We wanted kids that fit the Owen Sound Attack mold and we've seemed to have good luck today finding them."
