Kitchener Rangers General Manger and Head Coach Steve Spott announced today that the team has selected Michael Davies with the 13th overall pick in the 2013 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection presented by State Farm.
Listed at 6.00 and 195 lbs, Davies is a left winger who recorded 73 points in 61 games playing for the Southern Tier Admirals in 2012-13. The Thorold, ON native is described by Rangers scouts as an elite scorer with high end skill, good size and strong hockey sense.
