Attack Take Three Players in 3rd Round

The Owen Sound Attack have made their three, third round selections and they are pleased to announce that they have selected

With their first pick in the third round (46th overall), the Attack have selected forward Carson Brookshaw of the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs. The 5'10, 180lb forward is described as a "Michael Halmo" type player who plays a tenacious style. Brookshaw collected 12 goals and 17 assists, along with 36 Penalty Minutes last season.

With their second pick in the third round (54th overall), the Attack have selected centre Ryan Heeps from the Oshawa Kinsmen. Heeps, a playmaking, two way centre, tallied 8 goals and 9 assists in 32 games last season.

And finally, with their third pick in round three (56th overall), the Attack chose defenseman Connor Walters from the Southern Tier Admirals. The 6'0, 195lb rearguard notched 7 goals and an impressive 50 assists to go along with 36 penalty minutes last season.

"All three players bring different assets and skill sets to our organization." Stated Dale DeGray. "We are very pleased to have all three young men on board and look forward to seeing them in camp in August.

The Attack will now select in the 4th and 5th rounds before the break.
