Owen Sound Attack News Release


The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that with the 17th overall pick in the 2013 OHL Priority they have selected forward Ethan Szypula (zi-pool-a) from the London Knights Minor Midget Gold.

Szypula, a 5'10, 155lb forward notched 22 goals and 28 assists in 30 regular season games last season. Ethan is described by OHL Central Scouting as a "highly skilled centre that makes the players around him better. Ethan is the kind of player that most coaches love to have on their team because he will do whatever it takes to win a hockey game."

"Ethan was very high on our list.", stated Attack General Manager Dale DeGray. "He is a skilled player with a lot of grit and we feel that he embodies our vision if what an Owen Sound Attack player should be."

The Attack organization wishes to welcome Ethan and his family into the Attack organization.

The Attack will now draft in the 2nd Round, followed by three, third round selections.
