Otters DRAFT RECAP ROUNDS 3-9
Third round (41 overall) Cole Mayo, 5-11 193 lbs from the Eligin-Midlesex Chiefs. He is a defenseman that had 5 goals and 29 assists in 30 games. He also amassed 14 penalty minutes. "Mayo is a smooth mobile defenseman with exceptional offensive instincts. Cole's mobility allows him to play a solid defensive game," stated Dave Brown Otters Assistant GM.
Fifth Round (80 overall) Trent Fox, 6-1 163 lbs Center from the London Knights - Gold. Fox ids the younger brother of current Otters forward Dane Fox. Last season Trent Fox had 15 goals, 13 assists and 44 penalty minutes in 27 games with the London Knights - Gold. Otters Assistant GM says of Fox, " he is a rangy forward with skill who can compete in both ends of the rink and will add a physical presence."
Sixth round (106th overall) Sean Kohler, 5-8 170 lbs from the Oakville Rangers. He is a LW that had 25 goals and 42 assists in 69 games, with 62 penalty minutes.
Seventh round (123rd overall) Patrick Fellows, 6-1 150 lbs from the Mississauga Rebels. He is a LW that had 10 goals and 16 assists in 32 games.
Eighth round (141st overall) TJ Fergus, 5-8 135 lbs from the Jr. Canadians. He is a LD that had 3 goals and 11 assists in 29 games.
Ninth round (161st overall) Nathan Kwieciniski, 6-1, 185 lbs who played for Detroit Little Ceasars. He is a RD that compiled 5 goals and 10 assists in 31 games, with 14 penalty minutes.
