Ottawa 67's Announce 6th and 7th Round Picks

(Ottawa, ON.): The Ottawa 67's today announced the following picks in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection:
6th Round (100th overall): Matthew Mercer (6'1 205) - D - Halton Hurricanes (32 GP, 5 G, 5 A, 58 PIMs)
7th Round (121st overall): Benjamin Blacker (5'9, 152) - Goalie - Brampton 45's - (26-15-6, 1.53 GAA, .935%)
7th Round (122nd overall): Steven Ruggiero (6'3, 175) - D - Metro (New York) - (15GP, 4 G, 11 A, 8 PIMs)
7th Round (128th overall): Brandon Zullo (6'2, 181) - LW - Ottawa Senators Minor Midget - (29 GP, 17 G, 16 A, 48 PIMs)
Mercer, Blacker, Ruggiero, Zullo, and other 67's draft picks and invitees will attend a two-day mini-camp next weekend at the 67's training facility in the Fred Barrett Arena, Leitrim Road, Ottawa. The camp will include fitness testing, on-ice practices and scrimmages.
