Soo Greyhounds News Release
With their 2nd Round pick (22nd overall) in today's OHL Priority Selection presented by StateFarm, the Soo Greyhounds selected defenceman COLTON WHITE from the London Knights Minor Midget AAA Gold.
"Colton is a player we had a high degree of interest in throughout the season. With the graduation of Colin Miller and Ryan Sproul, we felt bringing another excellent skater on the back end was a priority. Colton is a young man who plays in all situations, including against the oppositons top players at even strength. He excels at taking away time and space from the opposition and pushing the puck up towards the opposition goal. " stated GM Kyle Dubas.
White, a native of London, ONTARIO, stands 6'0" while weighing 177 lbs.
In 27 games played in 2012-13 he had 7 goals and 13 assists, good for 20 points.
