IceDogs Select 11 in 2013 OHL Priority Selection

The Niagara IceDogs selected 11 players in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection presented by State Farm on Saturday.

The picks included seven forwards, three defencemen and one goalie selected of the course of the day.

With their first round pick the IceDogs took forward Hayden McCool from the Whitby Wildcats, one of three Wildcats the IceDogs selected on the day, along with 3rd round pick Ryan Sarris and 10th round pick Matthew Carroll.

Niagara's second round pick would see the IceDogs select defenceman Zach Wilkie. Graham Knott being selected with the first pick of the third round and Johnny Corneil in the fourth round would join McCool, Knott and Sarris to round out the IceDogs five picks in the first four rounds.

3-53 Ryan Sarris

4-74 Johnny Corneil

7-126 Cody Caron

9-166 Aric Smith

10-186 Matthew Carroll

12-226 Johnathan Kovacevic

13-246 Ryan Langford

14-266 Michael Montambault
