Anthony Rizzo Sets Franchise Record for RBI in One Month

(Harrisburg, PA) - The Sea Dogs are currently batting in the fifth inning, leading the Harrisburg Senators 9-3, but Anthonys Rizzo's three-run double in the fourth inning, landed the Portland first baseman in the record books. Rizzo now has 29 RBI in August, the most for any month in the 17-year history of the franchise.
The previous record of 28 was held by five different players: Aaron Bates(2009), Ross Gload (2000), Kevin Millar (three times in 1997) and Jon Still (2009.
